A rugged biometric tablet finally affordable for developing countries

TazTag just announced a brand new product to answer the very specific needs of professional markets in developing countries : a highly affordable biometric and ruggedized mobile tablet.

Main features include a 7 inches multi-touch screen, quad-core CPU running Android, a heavy- duty battery and all the standard communication protocols such as 3G, Wifi, Bluetooth and GPS built-in a nomad design, ruggedized and ready for all kind of rough usage thanks to its IP64 certification.

Governments, banks, industries and corporations for nomad identity control, data protection or customer enrollment... As a device designed for specific applications, this tablet features a sharp professional fingerprint sensor complying with FAP20 standards, and LFD ( Live Finger Detection ) enabled.

Taztag is open to White Label and SKD business model for its local strategic partners, also including a complete SDK to help System Integrators and Solution Providers to build up coherent solutions for their local end customers.

With a price of 145 USD per units for 5000 devices, Taztag finally opens new possibilities in mobile biometry for the professional markets of developing countries.
